Resources
We search archives, collections, museums and libraries for verified original source documents. The bulk of the documents we use as references are available to the public through the National Archives, and other government agencies. We also obtain physical artifacts through collectors, historians, public auction and private organizations.
These documents come in many forms, and include:
- Government files
- Period journals
- Original log-books
- Microfilm
- Archival photo collections
- Books with known provenance
- Original letters
- Original press photograph prints with licensing stamps
- Film Footage
We catalog every piece of information we obtain with as much metadata as possible, following strict methodologies and source transparency. Our sources are always disclosed on every article where applicable. This allows us, and the reader, to counter disinformation by fact-checking any information they wish to verify.
